Gardenia needed some love. She wanted a man too, like for real. But no time for that as of now. So one night stands will have to do.
Brett Ayers showed up as her blind date.
And well.. the expected happened.
And all the clothes came off.
They kept things safe enough when it came to pregnancy.
She was hoping to meet a nice elderly sim to have a relationship and a baby with.
And washing off the night afterwards.
The dude stayed around a little. He met Peppa.

And after the bath Gardenia was back in action. Mother plant action.
She needed more spore clusters and bizarre fruits to make more vaccine. To vaccinate and recruit more sims to fight the monster. And to make even more vaccine to throw at the plant to weaken her.

Yes. This holiday came up. Not Gardenia nor Mateo were gonna specifically do anything for it. Especially as they both were indifferent about it.

Before she headed to the lab, she took care of Peppa. She had fallen ill. Who knows with what but Gardenia didn't have the time to take her to the clinic and luckily had vet treats to cure her. Also the sky looked horribly unnatural. Not the summer Gardenia hoped for.

When she got to the lab sissy April called. Gardenia was so tense with how everything was - the disease thingy in town, no beautiful hot summer and no nice man.
Ooh! Do tell!
She had a lot of labwork to do so she had taken the tent wither to sleep in. The tent was for Mateo to sleep in and Gardenia slept in the bed back at their house. But Mateo finally got to sleep in the bed as Gardenia and the tent were gone.
Speaking of Mateo...
He came down to the lab too for a little to help the sister-in-law collect some spore clusters to make vaccine. He didn't stay long though as the scanner's battery died and he was tired. But no big deal. Looks like Gardenia maybe got enough vaccines made.

The new skill day ended. Gardenia had, not surprisingly, gained a logic skill. Mateo didn't learn much that day so the holiday ended up being awful for him in those terms.
