Eventhough her relationship wasn't the best and the most sure thing Gardenia turned this blind date down.
She still had Jay.
And a lot to do to find out how the fix this town. She dragged Jay along when she headed back to the lab. She had talked to a lot of sims about it.
She needed to gather some things from the lab in exchange for the key card to get to the depths of the lab. As she was lookg for things she needed to bring some sims in town, a military sim got in contact.
Julius Cornejo. She thought she might get more infro from him so she went.
Jay called her shortly afterwards though:

Well Gardenia and Julius had a chat. They ordered food too but it never came. So all in all, it was a useless outing cause she didn't get any new information either.
She went back to the lab with Jay.
She was starving though cause she didn't get to eat at the restaurant.
Luckily she had some plantains with her.
She had a chat with the weirdo of Strangerville about the lab and all that stuff. She got her key card too.
At home Jay was waiting. He thought of moving out but they actually had a sweet moment together. He went in for a make or break kiss. And he didn't feel pressured from it. So he stayed.

Gardenia tried talking to the weirdo sims some more. She was also PMSing. Her first period was coming.

Next morning, the bills came. 472 simoleons for the second week of spring in Strangerville.

Ugh, Gardenia was feeling nauseous in the morning. Probably from PMS but maybe pregnancy.
Whatever. She still wanted this town to be a good place to live so she needed to continue with the investigation in why the sims were acting weird here. She got the key card. Took the animals with. And went for it.

Well the little pink spores were the only thing for a while to leave any kind of an expression.
She was just looking at these weird plants mostly, afterwards.
There was this questionable hall though.
It looked like she shouldn't go in there as it was filled with purple smoke and even more of those little pink spores. She went in!
She staggered back out of the room.

Wow... she somehow made it home, with the animals.
But... she was not well.
She got the weirdo infection. And the weird lab plants were all big now in town aswell. Plus the sky had turned all weird too! She wanted to make it all go away and made it just worse.
Luckily soon the weirdness attack wore off.
She intercated with the animals a little in a friendly manner. She had just been talking to the weird sims and was all consumed with the infection taking over the town, always at the lab.
Talked to her sis Biolina too for some more normalcy.
The went to the local bar.
With Peppa. Gardenia obviously didn't learn from Love Day not to take Peppa anywhere cause she terrorizes sims. Again, she was chasing them, attacking them and barking at everyone. Incredbily sassy!
Phew! The human sims could finally relax now that the bitch was asleep.

Gardenia got to talking to Julius. She needed to spore scanner from him. She thought of trying to lure it out of him with her sexy side but decided to be serious. Showed him some physical strength instead as he was a military man.
Oh yeah, Peppa woke! She could have been the reason of the weird behaviour in this town!
Yay! Must have worked cause she was good friends with him. She was pretty much instant friends with anyone she met. She was still very sociable eventhough her aspiration for now was to fix the town. She wanted to return to enjoying companionships though.
Oh she was a little cheeky with him afterall. She got to install a chip on him. She wasn't sure if she was gonna be even more mischievious and listen in on him but the thing was planted.
