So yeah, Kylli moved in. She was a young adult now. Again, Todd would have been older had he not died.
Anyway, Kylli left behind her mum Lori Vera. She was a desert girl herself, Oasis Springs. She had an interest of vampires but that quickly changed when she moved in, she aspired to be a bestselling author now. Should fit too as she was a chatty sim. Also hyper, just like Gardenia and Todd. And growing up in the desert made her weather immune too. She was also muser. And her personality archetypes were everyman and artist. So, a creative young woman. She entered the freelance writer career.
Her first gig. A children's book.
Unfortunately the client was rude.
But she got her business talked through and she started writing a book.
She talked to the client some more to smooth the conversation but no help.
She got her book finished though. And before sending it in for approval she read it herself.
Gardenia did too. As did Todd. Just to see what everyone's reactions were and to make sure the boom wasn't a disaster.

Oh yeah and Gardenia tried to be a little healthier these days, what with her old age. Peas and water are in order.

Soon after moving in Kylli wanted to start keeping bees. Todd liked the idea too as the bees would help with the flowers in their garden.
They bought the bee box. Kylli was gonna look after the bees and Todd was gonna spend more time on the flowers to make them super good quality.
As for the young lovers... their relationship was on a little hold. Kylli did kiss Todd's cheek every now and then and even wanted to have sex with him but they just had to wait. So... for now, it was just the bees. The birds will fly in later.
After Todd was done with the book, Kylli sent the thing in.

Gardenia and Micah. The man had got old too and had actually retired from his trainer position at the gym. They had more time to spend together. She did spend a lot of time learning handiness though. And could finally upgrade the washing machine for laundry additive.
