Maia had a date with Judd, at the spa.

After that they really kept in touch and not long after they decided to move in together. The man lived in Magnolia Promenade.

Judd worked as a secret agent. He was into simoleons just like Maia, with his fabulously wealthy aspiration.  As for personality, Judd was self-assured, business savvy, logical thinker, greedy but also hero. Hm a hero!? Well if he gets Maia pregnant and successfully helps raise the next generation then maybe yeah.
And they started trying right away too. Maia had spent enough time feeling angry and sorry for herself.
And surprisingly, with one try, she was pregnant! And it was a happy pregnancy too.

Before Maia got the chance to tell Judd, he had already started to feel the baby fever.
So she had to tell him. He was very happy too.

The noyl problem right now was that, with the new member of the family on it's way and Maia and Judd both being materialistic sims, they had very little money: 4074 simoleons. Hm, something needed to be done about it.

Maia was out one day. Ran into her half sister Isla Goldsmith. They had a quick chat and that was that.

Maia also tried to get ahead in her spellcasting. Learning new spells.

And as her life finally seemed to be picking up, she got a call from that one blind date. So even if it hadn't started with Judd, there would have been at least that choice.
But things were so good with Judd.
Maia even asked him to be her boyfriend.
He accepted the request.
And with that Maia's New Year's resolution was completed too.

And Maia scored big at work too, got the lead in that Captain Sigma film. Yay! Her little belly is showing already though so she'll have to see how it works out. They need the money though.
