So Gunner and Kate had the same aspiration - Soulmate. They went on a buttload of dates together and were all lovey dovey. And exhauted from all the sex they had. So they had a lot of massages and relaxing baths.
Well all this time together resulted in Gunner reaching his second aspiration. He didn't get a new one cause he was old and content. He was dying. Happy and dying. One day when he was about to go to work he cancelled the plan at the last minute.He stayed home and helped Kate reach her Soulmate aspiration aswell.
