Old dad Jamari's still got it. Dancing away in the kitchen, dining room.

Then the whole family watched TV together. The couch was too small, obviously. Elliana didn't wanna look at the screen from an angle.
Later she had to turn on the heating cause the weather was really cold. They were all worried about the bills though.

When the girls had gone to bed, Barone and Jamari spent some time together.
This year they finally got a snowy winter so they both had wanted to go out to build a snowpal. So they did.
It was already dark out though. And Jamari's back was getting in the way a bit. But the snowpal got built!

In the very early morning hours, Katra woke up and sat herself down on the couch to play some video games.
She was a gamer afterall.

A bit more into the day and the family went out to eat. Minus Elliana cause she's a vampire, without any daylight perks.

Katra turned to Barone. As it turned out before, when Katra grew into a teen, Barone really had been the most parental with her.
So they were out. The faces were smiley, eventhough they received news about Chip dying.
But they were out to spend the last special times with dad cause he was dying too.
Katra wasn't dying but she felt like it. She just felt sick and uncomfortable. Most likely from her fibromyalgia.
Brother and dad went ice skating but Katra herself...
She was feeling so crazy - so sick, tired but hysterical. She went home.
Barone and Jamari had some heartfelt talks.
And pretzels.
Eventually they headed back to the restaurant.
Barone ran into Duchess Edwards.
Was it a failed flirt, a bad joke, who knows? But it didn't go down well.
Anyway, the men headed home with Duchess still hanging on.

At home, Katra was still feeling super sick. And so very tense and uncomfortable.

Barone started watching a film with Duchess.

Eventhough Elliana hated children, she had become very caring of Katra.
So the teen naturally went to her to complain about her problems. Since her big bro Barone was busy.
Elliana was a very good masseuse and offered a massage for Katra.

Barone and his lady guest got a little handsy too. Just a little bit flirty. Nothing too much.

Dad found his way to the bathroom to clean the pukey toilet, the sink and to do laundry.

When Jamari was done with some chores he had a bite of cake. He also finally, officially met Duchess.
She was an active, helpful little thing herself.
Started cleaning up the place.

Barone was well impressed.
Since he had first kinda broken into her home to do home-ly things, he offered Duchess a new home, in the Goldsmith house.
She moved in!
