Since the new generation was on it's way Barone wanted to get going with making the relationship legal too. Finally his responsible trait he gained from a good childhood finally paid off. He took Duchess to a nice scenic place in Windenburg, The Bluffs.
Oh no! It was raining!
Besides belly touching not much else happened. As they were both uncomfortably wet. Fail!
So they went to Del Sol Valley instead.
Once at the dry, sunny museum...
Buttering her up.
She said yes!
As they both still dripped water from the rain in Windenburg.
Just a kiss to seal it.
Barone still had the bite scar from when that vampire showed up at their apartment and bit him.
Right after the engagement Barone got a message. He thought it was gonna be a congratulative one. Instead, his old lover Gretchen bothered him with this nonesense:
Huh? Barone was the one who got bitten! She's messed up!

Katra was on point though.

At home Barone worked out. He had lost most of the flab. Just needed the muscle still.
Duchess was just working. And being pregnant.

Also the apartment got new traits. Was quiet and haunted before, now it was quiet, on ley line and even more peace and quiet. It was in Duchess' aspiration to become a parent so she was really hoping for more than one baby.

Barone at work. The srugery was a success again. He also had a house call again. This time he made it there.
This crazy fashion lady happened to walk past. Surprisingly she wasn't the one being sick!
As he was attending to the patients Barone found out Duchess had gone into labour. He wasn gonna finish up the house call and head back to the hospital quickly and then leave early.
But when he got back to the hospital this happened:
A kid, Vanessa Gowers, died!
Barone felt so bad cause he had been away, healing others.
He pleaded for the little girl to be alive again.
Everyone in the hospital had gathered into this one room to witness this horror.
Patients, the orderly and receptionst.
She came back to life.
Only to die again.
Barone pleaded again!
It was a no the second time.
What a depressing workday!
Barone got the girl's urn though. She was gonna be brought back to life! Maybe a vamp will be a good thing for once. Elliana, that is. She knows how to cook ambrosia. Hopefully there are needed ingredients too!
