Anabelle was pleased at first.

Sadly the patient had to be treated with surgery! Barone had never successfully done one.
Maybe this time? Although he was angry and tense.
The pink pony was out. And the operation was a success!!!
He treated two more patients that day, without surgery, and they were both cured too. So it was, weirdly, a successful day.

But at home he continued his horrible ways.
The redhead who moved in once for a few minutes, Gretchen, called.
Surprisingly he didn't go. His hands must have been full.

Well, Duchess didn't just wait around for Barone either. Her ex Christian was out of his apartment, out in the hall. Duchess went to see how he was doing to try and have a nice deep discussion.
