So there was something going on in this town as Gardenia saw in some sims there. Also she asked around a lot. Everyone was talking about the lab in town so she went to have a look.
Peppa came with.
She dressed Peppa in disguise, just in case.
Not the best but still.
And she proceeded to look around the place and investigate what she could.
A door she couldn't get through.
And some papers.
And she was done that night. So was the Love Day. It ended okay for Gardenia, not the best but okay. And not surprisingly it was horrible for Jay.

Next day.
It was just a random holiday which they didn't pursue too hard. Jay didn't feel too strongly about it either.
They just had a relaxing morning together.
One of them had left an old food bowl on the floor.
Peppa went after it. And then puked it back out.
Later Jay went to work. And Gardenia needed some amorous attention and since it was hard to do with Jay...
She met up with this guy Darnell Saunders who she had the Love Day date with.
He blocked her romantic advances though.
She didn't take it lightly and was nasty back. She immediately felt bad though regretting for what she had said. But Darnell  was clearly not interested. So Gardenia tried the dating app and arranged for a blind date.
Jacklyn Helton showed up. Gardenia thought of making flirty things more exiting for Jay with a new female.
He went along with it.
Um...
Well, Gardenia got some action but not too much attention.

Jay was still bored. He was especially bored with Jacklyn eventhough it didn't look like it before. At the same time, he was excited about a new young partner but he was just bored and tense with this whole situation since they moved into this town.

As jay went outside to eat his meal, the girls tried to get to know each other. Peppa tried to butt in too, the bad girl!
Well, the girls got on just fine. Not romantically, just being friendly.
And hey! Jacklyn moved in. They were gonna buy a tent for her to sleep in outside as it was warm out.
She had a makeover.
Her aspiration was being a super parent. So one of her traits was domestic. The rest were not the best. She was a baller. But she was also untalented. And had Crohn's disease. But still, she got a job as an athlete.
The family still had some money to manage three sims and two pets - 21 091 simoleons but they all had very low paying jobs still so hopefully they will not run out.

Talk Like A Pirate day ended. Gardenia and Jay had had a little laugh with the holiday so it was successful for them but not so much for Jackyn.
