So the whole family tried to support dad and go to Granite Falls with him. The last time they were all there they all got homesick. And obviously way, way back Todd's aspiration kind of caused his mum's death. So it was a hard one, completion of this aspiration.

Well, the good thing was when they got there...
The house they stayed at had a TV. The kids didn't care too much about this but they stayed in the house with mum while Todd went out to find plants and bugs.
Todd enjoyed the live pictures. Like this woodpecker.
The others sat down to watch some telly. And sure enough they were homesick again, especially the kids. They just didn't like the woods.
Todd gave everyone a hug and JT, Juku and Kylli all went home. The holiday ended too, Kylli saw the show and was happy about the whole thing. Todd missed it and failed with the holiday.
Not a big deal, he had more important things to work on.
So the family went home. Todd didn't wanna be all by himself so he invited his friend and co-worker to join him in the woods, Eddie.

Ah, no! It was Love Day holiday right after the family went home. They were gonna have to be apart for this day. And Todd quite liked it as did Kylli. The kids were too little for it. Oh well, maybe next time.

Todd didn't stick around the lodging with Eddie. He had come there for a reason, to catch bugs and harvest forest plants. So instead of a cozy Love Day date Todd ran around the rainy forest, collecting bugs and waited for plants to ripen.
He had had his eye on this one unidentified little bush. It was slowly ripening.
But before Todd got to it, this horrible bear got there and tore out the whole bush!
Okay... no! Todd was absolutely displeased.
He started shouting at the bear and even got physical.
But since he had had a good upbringing and it was Love Day and all, he started feeling bad.
Yeah but the plant was gone and all others were either too small, out of season or dead.
So he just had to wait around. Talked to Eddie a bit too.
Could harvest some plants later on.

And as he was waiting around for other plants to grow he received some horrible news too. First, Vanessa Gowers had died. The sims who died as a kid and... was it Todd's grandfather who brought her back to life!? At least she died of old age now.
And another sad one was Lori. Kylli's mum, died too.

Needless to say  this Love Day was a Loveless Day for all. A failed holiday.

Old flame Karen thought she could fill some Goldsmith family space. No, Karen.

Anyway, Todd returned back home after the news.
The last time he saw the family, they were all homesick and sad and now they all were home but still sad from grandma's passing.

Well, mum found solace in comforting the kids.

Yeah Todd was home but he was still kind of a one wolf. So he tried some relaxing in the soothing ocean water.

At home...
...JT got a hug from mum too.
