Autumn's here!

Juku got wind of Maia's great performance at work. Hopefully she'll win the award too.
She actually invited Tamati with her.
The man had wanted to see her for quite some time. So this was the perfect occasion as she needed a date. And a while ago Maia had had baby fever and eventhough she wasn't too sure about Tamati, she actually wanted a baby with him.

As they got to the event, got changed and took their seats, Maia had to go to work. She could have won an award for working but she decided to work instead.
She thought she'd hurry at work and get back to the award show. But the event was over by the time she finished. Oh bother! Maybe she'll be nominated again one day.

Next day was a holiday. Summer Farewell. Maia wasn't going to celebrate too actively but if she could tick something off the list then great.
She took Kaya for a walk.
She had heard of this interesting portal in the town of Glimmerbrook. A weird purple eyed sim walked out of it. Hm...
Maia for sure was gonna walk through the portal too.
With Kaya of course!
They entered the building in front of the portal.
This sure looked like the magical world Maia had heard of. As she was trying to explore it, reality called. Or... her agency.
They offered her some auditions. Okay work responsibilities were done, onto exploring the magic world.
She came across some spellcasters.
Maia had a bit pf a fun chat with Morgyn, the sage of untamed magic.
But then things got serious.
She got that special mote vision thingy to collect magic motes for Morgyn.
She got onto it. Kaya was just running around the place getting to know the magical sims there.
When Maia was done she looked up Morgyn again.
Gave the sage the motes and...
Whoop!
Maia tried some of that potion brewing with another sage watching on.
Wasn't Maia's style though.
She did magic her own way at home.

She later did a bit more humanly things, released her song Dude Sim.

Kaya had a little change in her life too. She wanted some love, from some other dog. Maybe she'll get some. And yes Kaya had the bad habit of pooping right in front of the front door.
