Maia was not okay with him losing his job. She was too work and money oriented herself to tolerate this. They had a fight.
Maia struggled at work that day. She was super angry.
She had gone into work thinking she might be better off marrying Camryn who was still Maia's girlfriend. But the two had quite a negative conversation too.

When Maia got home she found out Tamati hadn't found a new job. They fought some more. And Maia tried to steal some of Tamati's money too.
Oof, left them both a bit bruised and bloody. And that was it for the two. They broke up. Tamati gained the emotion bomb fame quirk, cause he was so famous now, and moved out.

Maia had no one to turn to.
Foremother Elliana was around thankfully. The two really got on great too. Maia got to share some of her worries and problems.

And decided to focus on her job. A new audition coming her way!

Also to focus on her spellcasting. A while back she received a message saying she was going to be given a special gift for becoming a spellcaster.
She got herself a fairy familiar, Fiya. She can now cast spells and be safe, hopefully.

Another thing Maia did was break up with Camryn. She had thought she wanted to get married to her instead of Tamati, but single Maia thought differently.

Only focusing on herself now.

Romance festival came around and well... she went. She saw the first sim she liked too, it was her friend Leinani's mum, Teulia. Leinani was there herself too with Tane. Maia had a quick chat with them.

Then found a girl to talk to, Amiyah Wilkins. She worked as a maid. They got some romance going but that was that.

Next day Maia had her audition which she passed. She also had Teulia on her mind, weirdly Amiyah wasn't.
Maia was feeling all hot yes but winter started.
And it all was a weird mixture of feelings...
...when Tamati invited Maia out to a duel.
They were going to duel for knowledge but Tamati didn't show up. Pfft. So Maia had a go on her own.

She also had to pay for the bills on her own. 10 413 simoleons, second week of autumn.
