Yeh, this little holiday. Was ignored as no one was quite into it.

What Maia got really into though was music producing.
Not the best quality yet but lots of effort.

The new guy in the house, Tane, got a bit too comfortable living with two ladies. He started flirting with Maia a little. Leinani didn't like it!
And Maia herself wasn't impressed either.
Made the couple fight.

Leinani was actually the losing side of it.
Seems impossible to find the logic in his arguments but the truth is when Maia and Leinani were both teens, the girls had some romantic feelings towards each other. They had fizzled out but there was still something there.
Leinani thought she'd have better luck at work being bossy.

Oh no! It just wasn't her day!

Eventhough Maia just witnessed some bad love, she still wanted to find some for herself.
Went to the Romance Festival. Ran into uncle Malachi and his man Lionel. She tried chatting up some sims but felt too gross to really go for it. Had a bad break out on her face.
She lit her own sparkles.
And painted some pics for the house. As she was an aspiring mansion baron, she wanted more paintings in her house.
The night ended with Maia going to sing karaoke with the uncles.

And it was the start of summer next morning!

Maia continued producing some music.
Still bad quality stuff.
She got one good one done too. Once Upon A Time In The kitchen, and outstnding quality tune. And she released it right away.
Yeah, it was sent to a record lable too. Now she just had to wait.

Once upon a time in the bedroom happened to Leinani and Tane.
The pair had made up.
Also yes, there was a double bed in the house, one double bed. They all slept in it whenever they could. They ran different schedules so it worked out.

The wait for some response for Maia's song didn't take long.
Ooh! Maia kinda has a job now.
She released one of her earlier songs.
And produced a new one.

Meanwhile, Leinani and Tane were back on totally good terms.
They became a couple. Also, had a pregnancy scare. No pregnancy though.

Yeah and Maia was still just producing songs.
She was just trying to get through her teen years without dying of anger. Was kind of trying to be the heiress but maybe not.

Bills were delivered. 10 134 simoleons, second week of spring in Del Sol Valley. They could afford this but still needed more money. Big city requires big pockets full of big green.

Rich uncle Brayan called. Leinani turned him down again as she seemed to have found herself real love.

Maia tried producing more songs for more money. She released Simoleons For Nothing.
Produced new ones. And the money eventually started... trickling in.
Ehh, it's a start!
Yeah and other than producing songs, she produced some killer journal material. She was always scribbling down her angry feelings. Must have helped her with her music. Eventhough she wasn't necessarily writing the lyrics. Just creativity and expression.
