So Maia met this guy at the spa. Tane. They hit it off instantly.
And it happened to be Love Day too. Was this some kind a sign?

Leinani had apparently made friends with Maia's uncle Brayan.
And her mum, Teulio, had a good feeling about those two.
And Maia's old friend Haych was happy for Maia and her new friend Tane.

Tane came over for the day. And... Leinani spent time with him.

Maia was too busy learning her lines anyway.
And throwing angry temper tantrums. No time for that love stuff.

As Leinani was putting the moves on Tane, Brayan called. No thanks, she was after a younger dude now. And it earned her a good reputation too. Well, this time it wasn't for money so...
Out of the blue, Leinani went to town.
Well if a man comes over on Love Day, this is what you do. Afterwards Leinani asked him to move in. He had been living with his mother so it was no problem.
So, Tane Ngata. He was a natural cook, geek and a mixologist. An aspiring soulmate. Oh and he quit his job as a mixologist and became a barista instead. Um... yeah. As he moved in, he wanted to get engaged to Leinani straight away.

So while Leinani and Tane were all loved up, Maia was still very much caught up in anger. She used the anger relieving balm dad had made a long time ago.
Didn't really help though.

And the little lovefest between Lei and Tane didn't help much either. Everyone ended up having a horrible holiday. More dates and flowers needed next time!
