Kylli's life was all about little things now. That she could do alone. Independent of anyone else. Weather included. It had been raining an awful lot, winter you know, and it was getting in the way of her laundry drying. She brought on the clear skies. Literally. Not figuratively.
More responsibilities fell on Maia, besides possibly having to keep the legacy going, getting the potion of youth for dad, she also had to secure the Goldsmith Elite club.
She talked about this with mum.
Little Maia had worked hard and got dad the potion. It kind of did take some of that load off of her own shoulders though.
Now that things were a teeny tiny bit more stable. Malachi went to spend time with his brother, Brayan. They went on a holiday together.
Eventhough the legacy wasn't the most secure right now, Todd took it quite easy. He had his own aspiration to finish too.
Luckily the family wasn't struggling financially so the parents could do whatever. But the bills did come again. 5994 simoleons, first week of winter.
Ah dad finally found the time to sit down and be nice to Maia.
Kylli had Maia on her mind from time to time too.
The females just didn't interact with each other much. But Kylli did think about how Maia would get on if Juku couldn't come back or if the grown ups died and she'd be alone.
Haych, now Maia's friend too, was still supportive of her but she was going through crazy moods, sadness and anger.
Ah and then this time came.
She was glad to go too. She just had been quietly waiting for it.
Todd went out drinking after Kylli's death.
And tried picking up random women for companionship.
When Maia was finished with school, her and dad went to cafe where he tried to pick up more women. Even this crazy looking barista.
The three of them went bowling.
But half way through the bowling...
Oh no! A vampire! She's a vampire! Nope! Todd took Maia and they went straight home and left the vamp bowling alone.
At home something sweet happened.
Juku! Where has he been!? Is he coming back?! It had been too long maybe for him to be brought back to life. It wasn't sure yet who the heir/heiress was.
Maia just couldn't handle all the responsibilities. She acted out a lot. Was always away from home, out after curfew.
Todd had signed up on the dating app for some sexy time. Not so much for the sexy part of it but he did think of having another kid with someone, just in case. Maia was not a stable sim and she was just a kid. What will happen when she turns into a teenager?! Todd went with this woman but she was an elder. Just a practice run then.
It was Winterfest time. Maia liked the idea of presents and Father Winter. But didn't care for the grandmeal nor the decorations.
Malachi was still away living his own life. So... the holiday was cancelled.
It was okay. Maia kind of started feeling better finally. And not cause of holiday cheer. But dad started doing more Goldsmith Elite gatherings. And the vibe was always inspiring. Kept Maia grounded quite a bit.
After the holiday, Malachi got back.
He actually made Maia feel better too as he spent quite a bit of time with her.
Brother Brayan came by once too.
Maia tried making friends with him seeing how nice Malachi was to her.
Malachi was on the dating app too.
So he spent some time dating. Out of the house again.
So, more daddy-daughter time took place.
Maia entered the picky eater phase. Wow.
Should Todd really practice his parenting again!?
And Malachi was away too.
With the brother and the teal-haired dude he had met. Dating, socializing.
